Unusual Asian Style Polychrome Plaster Console Table
Circa 1980
If one put Post-modernism and Asian influences in a blender, you would get this unusual console table. Riffing on an altar table form, the top with upturned ends painted a metallic copper (or could be read as an antiqued gold) color over the terra cotta base with low relief triangles painted in blue and green. Note only has front legs and screws into wall.
