The subject’s leather jacket was designed by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, pioneers of British Punk fashion, and retailed by their King’s Road shop Seditionaries. It was during this time that their designs centered around dressing the Sex Pistols, whom McClaren also managed.
