Each painted in ivory with polychrome decoration of rose garlands, with ladder back issuing padded armrests; the seat covered in petit point featuring a central blue cartouche enclosing a floral bouquet bordered by ribbon and floral garlands, over a guilloche carved seat rail; raised on fluted tapering legs joined by X-form stretcher. Unusual and charming chairs featuring provincial-form ladder backs with sophisticated carving and fine floral needlework calling out to any garden lover.
