French Restoration Mahogany and Parcel Gilt Armchair

The tub-form padded back covered in a herringbone rainbow silk jacquard with reeded gilt crest rail terminating in scrolls and issuing two downs-swept arms with gilt reeding and foliate embellishments; the upholstered seat over a deep seat rail on subtle saber legs.
