Artist Commentary:
When Iggy and the Stooges came to New York in 69-70, they were so raw and completely different from what we had ever seen before. Iggy was the authentic ‘street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm’. The downtown crowd knew this was the next big thing, and they loved it.
