The octagonal top inlaid with tortoiseshell and flame mahogany secured by metal studs; raised on an ebonized chamfered columnar support on a quadripartite base on turned feet.

Good. Refinished. Replacements made: One piece of tortoiseshell on top replaced with flame mahogany. This was evidently done a long time ago. Wear consistent with age and use. Some losses to mahogany veneer on plinth. Restoration to ebonized surface.
