Pair of Mario Buatta Battersea Enamel Style Candlestick Lamps
Late 20th Century
Designed for Frederick Cooper. The ceramic candlesticks of fluted, French 19th-century form, the rounded bases with panels of alternating hand-painted polychrome flowers and green leaves, the columns with further alternating lines of polychrome flowers, each knob gilt-rimmed, the design further repeated on the capitals, fitted with removable brass harps.
